| As the success of Seisx and Photon seemed to be at its peak, this endeavor was undertaken to have something to display on Photon's new 60" monitor. And to freak out the Landmark people. | |

These images were provided in TARGA format and had to be massively hacked by myself, Shayne, Ed,
and many others. We finally shrunk the thing down to a (small??) 16MB collection of files
that was barley large enough to see on the screen.
At the time, animated GIF's were just appearing and there wasn't much support for it on Unix/X/Motif. The animated sequence was awsome, but due to poor performance on the unix workstations the logo wasn't displayed too often. |
